The Fall season is optional within Little League but serves as a valuable developmental opportunity for players. Division placement for the Fall is based on the upcoming year’s Age Chart—in this case, the 2026 Age Chart, as outlined by the birthdates listed below.
Fall is generally a more relaxed season, making it an ideal time for players who are moving up to a new division. It allows them to adjust to new rules and expectations without the pressure of championships or All-Stars. This transitional environment helps players gain confidence and experience ahead of the more competitive Spring season.
Note: The age cutoff for division placement is August 31 or earlier.
