Umpires are one of the most important assets a Little League can have. Beginners and experienced officials are all welcome. We have and need adult umpires as a well as junior umpires. 

Junior umpires are aged 13 thru 17 and are usually players that have graduated from the small field to the big field. While they usually officiate our coach pitch games they also work as base umpires and behind the plate for our kid pitch divisions.

Adult umpires are aged 18 and older. These umpires are current or past coaches, players that have aged out of playing Little League or just fans of the game and want do their part to provide the kids a great playing experience.

Little League University and FCLL offer training on the rules of the game and the mechanics of umpiring. 

Fossil Creek Little League encourages our membership, coaches and players to respect our umpires and their decisions. It is very difficult to umpire a game and have our umpires return when officials hear comments from the "bleacher umps" that the call made was wrong. To that, we say, step up. Sign up for our umpire program and call some games.
